HELP! I noticed emulsified oil coming out of what looks like some kind of fitting on top of my bell housing inside the transom. I removed the prop and about 100 metres of fishing line and realised that the bottom seal is most likely gone as the drive dipstick is covered in emulsion. I can understand this, but cant work out why the emulsion and water is inside the bellhousing. Is there a breather in there that has overflowed due to the water ingress, or is there a seal gone at the top too? on running the engine in gear with the prop removed I dont see any oil loss into the water behind the boat, but on increasing the revs water/emulsion trickles from the fitting inside. I would appreciate any help as I know nothing about the AQ100 aquamatic drive. Everything still works as it should, but obviously I wont drive it as the drive is contaminated with. emulsion, although not full of water,as the bell housing seems to be. Thanks, Gary.

Should be in the water in around 8-12 months....after a 4 year restoration. She has a wooden hull and fibreglass suoperstructure, to be finished in a gloss black hull with cream superstructure and teak decks......fingers crossed...should look rather nice!

Looking to meet and join in discussions re:the beautiful boats with other boat owners and enthusiasts. Hope to here back from anyone with hints and tips of engine and drive choice, yet still to be made.
ps. How do I add photo's? Does anyone know?
